Hello!
I have installed quickstart package on Joomla 2.5.16. Site looks great, but when I click on any of the articles, I get this error (please see attached image).

Tried to change SEO/URL rewriting settings, no luck. Any other ideas? Thank you

Hi.
Please rename from htaccess.txt to .htaccess in root folder.
This should help.

If not ... hmm, maybe your hosting cache all php files for few minutes - I saw it on some servers, that's why even when you change settings in Global configuration --> configuration.php - server needs time to refresh it.

Hello. I may have a similar problem with my new site at shellyryder.com. Clicking on the What I Do or Who I Am top menu links results in the same 404 message. Do I need to rename the htaccess thing? Not sure where to find this...might have to have my hosting provider do this for me.

Thanks for any tips.

@sryder
your "See More" have link URL "index.php/k2/k2-categories" - and you get 404 - it means - if here is not such a content, so CMS can't show them, easy.
Check settings of this module - there you will find answer.

Don't worry... it's easy to fix / replace with your own. :mrgreen:

1) Find module "What I do" - probably it's News Show Pro GK5
2) Portfolio - Portal Mode Settings (TAB)
and the end you will find "URL for the link"

p.s.
You still have (or had) demo content that's why you have big mess.
