Fresh installation of the Creativity Quickstart, and the first thing I did was update to Joomla 3.4.1.

No images show up at all, even previews in the administrator area. I have uploaded images using ftp, the Media Manager, and through the K2 article interface, none of them work.

Media Manager shows the files, but no preview images. FTP confirms they're where and what they're supposed to be. I can see nothing in the CSS that would hide anything. The source code even points to the right place. Still no images at all.

Ideas? Solutions?

It's in development.

You can look at an article under "What We Do" called "Checking Images," which is one I created to see.

Please try this steps:
Code: Select all
0) Install new current version of NSP GK5 (re-install)
1) Open module in edit mode
2) Click Refresh button in your browser
3) Change data source to another from list
4) Change order of showing items
5) Save changes - check on front page
6) If okey, change data source back to option which you have at the beginning

Didn't help.

It's not just a single module that's not showing images, it's the entire site, both front and back ends.

I have enclosed a couple screen grabs from the back end. The first shows the Control Panel page, note that the K2 icons are all missing.

The second is from the Media Manager, note that no thumbnails of the images show; double clicking brings up a lightshow box that's nothing but an empty rectangle.

No other sites that I are on my hosting service have this problem, and I haven't had this happen with any other Gavick template I've used.

Here's some new info.

I tried a local installation on my home computer and everything is just fine. All the background and placeholder images are in place and visible.

I'm starting to think it's something with my hosting server?

It seems it is.
To be 100% sure, please check via ftp if files like:
administrator/templates/isis/images/joomla.png
media/k2/assets/images/dashboard/documentation.png
exist.

Please contact your hosting company support. Perhaps some .htaccess configuration blocks the request or there might be any another reason.
