Hello

I have 2 modules in sidebar position.
On all but home page, modules shows correctly - on the right side.
On home page modules are shown below main content (1 featured arcticle)
Is there any settings which I'm missing which makes this behavior?
I would like that sidebar is shown on the right side on home page as well.

Website is being developed on localhost so i cannot provide link for now.
Pls take a look at attached photo.

Hi

This maybe validation error. Please check if custom content has correct HTML syntax. I think there may be some closing or opening tags missing.

Hi

I unpublished custom HTML modules and created Joomla default login module, published it into sidebar position,
and it's the same. Article on home page contains p tags only.

Yesterday I've uploaded website on live server http://www.odvjetnicki-ured-maracic.hr/
so I can PM backend access if needed

Hello

I've checked everything several times.
Sidebar on home page always displays below content.

Please, any hint would do.

I also sent PM message to teitbite with login details.

Maybe as subscriber to business package I'm not entitled to this level of support?
If this is the case, than it would be fair to show it in subscription level details.

Hi

Please send me an url to administrator part. I'm guessing You are using a security plugin since I'm being redirected to homepage when trying to open this folder.

Hi

Admin url is standard one: http://www.odvjetnicki-ured-maracic.hr/administrator/
And I'm not (yet) using any security plugins.
Usually I'm installing admin tools pro on more important websites, but this one doesn't have it installed atm

Hi

I would really like to solve this issue.

Otherwise, no matter how Gavick templates looks nice, I cannot do anything else but to choose another template provider. If this simple issue needs 2+ days to be solved, I'm afraid what could happen with more complex issues.
Like I said it's really simple website, nothing customized in template, except few lines in override.css file, but darn sidebar refuses to stay on the right side on homepage.

Hi

It took longer, because I had some problems with Your server. Couple of times it stopped working while I was checking articles. Anyway I've tracked the issue to a featured articles layout file. Please rename /html/com_content to /html/_com_content so a default file will be used for component. I've changed home menu typy to single artice for tests, Please change it back to featured articles layout in order to see it default file is free of this problem.

Hi

Sorry for late reply, I was away because of other tasks.
I can see that module position is working now, thanks for the hint's

Could you please answer this few questions?

1. Does it mean that blog layout cannot be used on homepage?
2. If above is true, is this related to all Gavick templates?
3. If I rename specified folder, system looses some of article visual formatting (like bullets) done by Gavick template.
Doesn't this make template less visually appealing?

Thanks

Hi

1. It can, but You need to enable using mainbody in frontpage in template settings.
2. Each template has a unique code in overrides, to best fit designer's idea. So it's not likely, but it's done by people, so bugs happens :(
3. Yes it does, but it helps to figure out where is the problem. Now please send me an access to FTP and I'll look into this file's code and fix it.
