Classic menu issue on tablet

Hi,
I want to use the classic menu instead the overlay but the drop down doesn't work properly on a tablet in landscape position (tested on my iPad). It is only visible when you double tap to zoom the page, then the submenu appears. You can test it here: http://poulinturcotte.ca/dev by trying to open the "Paniers" menu item, which contains 2 sub-menu items.

Is it a CSS or JS issue?

Hi

Can You show me a screen with element You are talking about ? Tablet uses a select dropdown list instead of the regular menu, so all elements has to work the same since it's all in one list.

Thank you for your fast reply. Here is a screenshot taken on my PC of the menu how it should be. On a tablet, the menu just doesn't show and the parent item, which is also a link to an article, doesn't work.

Hi

Menu is displayed in a mobile menu version which is expected. Please take a look at screenshot. You need to click the menu icon and menu list is visible.

In portrait mode, the mobile menu is showing as you said, that is correct. However, when the ipad is in landscape position (horizontal), the full menu is shown (it's what I want, as it is on the demo). But in this position, the drop down menu is not showing unless you zoom the page. This is happening with the classic menu.

Hi

This problem doesn't exists on demo, so I believe it's some kind of conflict. Please send me an access to joomla panel. I'll see which extentions can be causing it.

Hi

I think it's one of Virtuemart additional plugins or jComments component interfering with menu animation script. I have disabled animation for weight and height of menu and looks like without this options menu is visible at least. Hope this solution works for You.
