So basically I purchased shop and buy, and I was eager to get started, so I downloaded the quick start package (I've done this previously for other sites which I owned) normally everything Is fine. But, on this occasion I seem to come across an explainable error, when I upload the .zip file, It will sit and upload for a while (Which Is expected, I'm not on the greatest of connections) after about 5 minutes, my page just seems to decide to time out. I've re-installed Joomla, also I've tried some solutions I managed to find on this forum for the issue I'm having, to literally no avail, but I have installed It manually, but I'm not really sure how to get everything placed correctly as I've never done It that way. but that installed instantly with no problems.

If anyone has a solution to this problem, I would be very grateful to hear It as I'm really stuck. Thanks alot
Thanks In advance,
Kindest regards.

If you are going with manual installation, please check this documentation:

Yet - doind quickstart would be much faster and I would suggest to stick with that approach.
Just remember that quickstart is a full Joomla installation package and sholud be uploaded to server unzipped (or uploaded zipped and unzipped on server if there is such possibility) and installed via standard Joomla installation procedure.

I've just been told that I can't do the quick start process because I've bought the personal package? I'm highly annoyed this wasn't stated "Clearly" or even stated at all.
Where do I go from here? Either getting It working manually, or getting a refund??

I mis-read the email, The way It was wrote made me think something different, I can download the install package, but correct me if I'm wrong, should I be uploading this package to the extension manager within Joomla once installed on the server? If so, that's what I'm doing, and all I get every-time I upload, is "No data received" I've tried doing It from various machines also, with the same error.

No. Quickstart is a complete Joomla installation and should be treated as that. You need to unzip it locally and upload it to server (remove any previous Joomla installation first), then access your site and go through Joomla installation process.

If you would have any problems with joomla installation itself - please contact your hosting company support - they should instruct you where to put the files, how to attach domain to a catalog on ftp server and how to setup database.
