Line break when using { } in articles

When I insert plugins with "{ }" in articles - as used for phocagallery or google maps plugins - more than one images/maps are not shown next to each other (in the same line) - the second is below the first, the third below of the second.
There is always a kind of "line-break"

There is no such line-break when I insert images the normal way with the article editor. Here the images are in the same line next to each other.. Thats what I want to have also for plugins with { }.

How can I get rid of this unwanted line-breaks for plugins using { } in articles??
I do not want to put them into table cells!

Well, then it is not a template issue related problem but general way Joomla renders shortcodes. Seems like it does it differently for custom html modules then in single articles. You might ask about the problem on Joomla general support forum, but I'm afraid it can;t be changed easily.
