Hi there,

I want to use the Creativity template but just for the home page as I like this imageshow full screen better than the Shop & Buy main page. I wanted the homepage to be simple.

So my question is how do I get Creativity's template running how I want it to but in the Shop & Buy's joomla system? Because I want to use the Shop & Buys template for the rest of the site.

I installed the template of Creativity into Shop & Buy but that of course does not work due to all module positions etc. Is there an easy way to do this or would I need to setup two separate websites for this?

Thanks.

Hi,

Please remember that you can assign the templates to specific websites - I recommend you to set Shop & Buy as a default template and Creativity as a homepage template.

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean I do these steps:

1. Quick install Shop & Buy.
2. Goto Extensions manager. Install gk_creativity_J!25.zip
3. Goto Template manager and set Creativity as the home page.

I had done that but the site is all jumbled. My problem is what do I do next to get the Creativity home page within the Shop & Buy installation to look how it is supposed to look if I had Quickinstalled Creativity by itself only.

is there something I am missing or not understanding properly here? Thanks a lot.

You will have to rearrange modules on the frontpage manually - additonally, please remember that Creativity has different CSS styling for the specific modules so you will have to manually adjust it. There is no other way.

Oh ok thanks. I think the best idea would be for me to create a separate install and redirect it to the second install.

My other question is, is it possible to use the 'slogan' on a image based logo? Because I am wanting to create a bottom border around 20px and place some slogan text into it. Otherwise I will have to add some text and a div tag in the default.php file instead.

The slogan text feature is available only in the text mode for logo, so you have to edit the default.php file manually.
