Invoices on quickstart

I can't get my invoices to work after using quickstart. I get the error

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/therapyt/vmfiles/invoices/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/therapyt/public_html:/tmp::/home/therapyt/public_html/tmp:/home/therapyt/public_html/logs) in /home/therapyt/public_html/components/com_virtuemart/controllers/invoice.php on line 135

when trying to view the invoices through orders

When I go to the invoices menu in the shop tab I see this:

What can i do to fix this?

As you can see this errors comens from core Joomla! or VirtueMart code. Maybe just something goes wrong during installation process - please firstly try to reinstall VirtueMart, then if this not help you probably need to install quickstart again.

My store is already functional and receiving customers. If I reinstall virtue mart, will I lose all my products?

No you shouldn't but remember to make a backup. You can also duplicate installation and check this view on default Joomla! template but it looks like problem with VirtueMart.

Please configure your server according to Joomla! requirements so disable display_errors option in PHP configuration.

Please explain further. What should I be altering in my php configuration file? I'm kinda wet behind the ears ?

You need to contact with your hosting provider and ask for disable display_errors option in php.ini file.
