Hi everybody.

I'm setting up a multilangual site to a customer with this template.
But I have a problem.

In the template-settings I have set the Main Menu to DA Main Menu (What have called the DAnish Main Menu with the home-link set to danish).
That works fine.

When switching the the English version of the site, the EN Main Menu (English main menu with the home-link) dissappears. (I want it to be shown in the same position as the DA Main Menu).

Looks like this template only support one menu to be set as the Main Menu, so it won't work on multilangual sites.

So I tried to turn off The template menu, and add the menus ass a module instead.
But there is no position in the template which shows the menu in the right place.

I'm stuck here, please help.

Hi

Yeah I know this problem too well. Home element will make problems everytime. You can fix it by creating a third menu with a home element only, but than you will have a next problem to translate.

I advice to use falang component. Have one menu and only translate the values. Really the best and fastest solution.

The problem is, that the Danish Main Menu is a little different from the english, so I don't think it will work in my case :/

Is it possible to add a module position in the template, that is placed where the Main Menus should be?
Then I can just copy the styling, to match the new position.

Hi

Replacing menu with module position is possible, but You will loose styling and making it work with it would be very hard.

A solution of using Falang still wins :) You can just create all menu options in one menu, but assign it to different languages. Use falang to translate just common parts, as Home element which must be the same page in each language (than You can use Falang again to translate this page content and use different modules attached to a different languages).

Thank you.

Finally it worked.

I love Gavick themes. It have a lot of advantages over other theme clubs, but the multilangual menu problem is REALLY a big problem imo.

Thanks for your help.
