Hi,

I'm trying to get the quickstart package to work. I've installed it ok but I accidentally installed just the template first which I'm assuming is stopping the quickstart package working.

Is there anyway this can be changed?

Many thanks

If its a fresh start, I would suggest to ftp to hosting server, remove current Joomla installation files, unzip quickstart on local machine and upload files from quickstart back.

Hi

Thanks for the quick response! I'm totally new to all of this - so how would I do the clean start? I have my site hosted with cloudaccess.net if that's any help?

Thanks

Sadly knowing company name will not help much.
1. Ask hosting company support foe exact directory where you should send files via ftp.
2. Unzip quickstart and upload them to pointed directory via ftp
3. Setup clean database via cPanel (or any other solution hosting company provides) - you will need 4 informations: data base name, user, password and host. If you cant find where to create database, please ask hosting company support.
4. With all above completed, access your site online and run installation providing data for database.
