Wrong Euro Symbol

Hi Staff,
my Virtuemart 2.0.24a on Joomla 2.5.16 shows a wrong currency symbol, the currency enabled is Euro and its symbol is a very strange one, I've attached a screenshot to show it? Do you know how to fix this issue,
