News show pro gk5

Hello,

I have a problem with News Show Pro gk5 on the frontpage.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have checked the other posts, and I have checked the shopper groups and language, I still can't figure out the mistake.

Can someone please help, my products are not showing, and when I select virtuemart categories there are no categories to choose from...

Most probably you have wrongly configured languages and language of the module is different than language of VirtueMart.

But I don't think so, the language of virtuemart is the same as the site language, if that's what You mean...

But do you use multilanguage VirtueMart? All products are assigned to some shopper group?

No, I use only one language. Shopper group is set to "Available for all". Is that not ok?

Please try just to select all shopper groups. In some VM update they changed table for shopper groups and maybe in your case there are still old value.

Sometimes VirtueMart during upgrade instead of fill informations in some tables just put 0 or null value there… good that it is working right now.

i have got very similar problem - as soon as i change language, the products are not showing on the main page. I already tried to select all shopper groups for each product - no luck.
I have last version of Shop & buy template with installed appropriate language pack for joomla and for virtuemart... any help? what else should i check?

@Zelberg - most probably your problem is connected with the fact that VM stores products in the tables connected with the language: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=95931.0
