VM Checkout comes back blank

Hello,
i have an issue when i try to "confirm purchase" on my site then i get a blank page in return.
Also i have configured joomla to run SMTP email with my gmail account set up.
I can't get any emails from the site when a user registers or a check out is done. i can't tell if the checkout completes.

Please try if same is happening when you will rename in template /HTML/com_virtuemart/ to /HTML/_com_virtuemart Please let me know if a result of this test.

Hello,
you mean rename the folder name yes?

i have just tried that but now the products don't show correctly and the checkout issue is not resolved.

Any other ideas?

That was not a solution

Just a test if it's related to template of virtuemart. Looks like it's a VM issue. Please report it to VM developers.
