Disabling onepage checkout

Hello, I would like to disable the onepage checkout, but when I change this in Virtuemarts configuration, nothing changes on the checkout page. Am I doing something wrong?

It should work. Please make a test and rename /html/com_virtuemart/cart to /html/com_virtuemart/_cart to see if problem is in template or VM itself.

I renamed it templates/gk_shop_and_buy/html/com_virtuemart/_cart and now it's working fine.
