Hi,

i'm using parallels to install joomla platform, and after installation, i use extension manager to install "Shop & buy", but the website doesn't have the expected look.
Here is the URL: http://mercadodogalo.pt/
Can you tell me what i'm doing wrong?
Please, be quick.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

If you want to reproduce the whole demo content, then you should use the quickstart package: http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joo ... t-package/

Help! I installed this template and the installation page doesn't appear! I don't get it... the index.php is there - I even typed it directly, still nothing... I unpackaged on my hard drive and uploaded the files, after attempting to unpack it on the server and it didn't work... wth? I downloaded another Gavick template, unpacked on hard drive, uploaded files, and voila! worked perfectly... Please, I need help!? www.enchantedtreasurescollection.com/index.php

Most probably you had an error during downloading the package - please redownload the package and repeat the installation process again.

That is exactly what I concluded, and did.... to no avail... it is still not working! Could the package for download be corrupt another way? Could someone download it and try it and see if it works for you??? Please... I'd really like to get moving on this project. MUCH THANKS! It is the Shop and Buy template.

Thank you for testing it... I did use the quickstart package... I guess I will just install joomla and use the template stand alone package instead... I don't get it... but thanks.

OK for anyone who might share my frustration... test the domain /webhost account with ANY kind of file... not showing up?!
Check your DNS settings!!! (feeling dumb now)..... the problem was my DNS addresses were set improperly. There was no problem with the template packages, and after correcting the DNS addresses... worked perfectly. Thanks to all who tried to help.

Thanks for sharing your solution :) In fact the DNS may be a problem, in this case I always changed index.php content to some 'test' to make sure that this is installation issue.
