Virtuemart in QS Joomla for 3.x?..

Hi!

On your live demo there is a menu-item 'Shop' with implemented Virtuemart.
But when I downloaded quickstart for J3.x and install it - there is only K2Store inside.
And there is no at all any menu similar to 'Shop'. I'm a bit confused

Please let me know - is there any support to Virtuemart in this Quickstart? And how to implement it?..

Hello,

There is no official stable release of VirtueMart for Joomla 3.x so if you want to use this component you have to use the J!2.5 version.

@MoloD - currently I'm finishing storebox, then I will work with shop & buy. Storebox will be released this week, on the next week I will release shop and buy.

Which kind of error do you have? I've tested both quickstarts two times and I haven't any errors.

At the end of the installroutine, there comes the error. I testet it on OSX and Win 7 with xampp.

Did you set the installator to remove old tables in your db? Because it seems that it is an effect of older installation on the same db.

No. it is a fresh db on a fresh xampp. I never created a db before with the same name. On Win i installed a fresh xampp and the installation was the first db i created.

For test i installed the Quickstart for Storefront and Storebox. Here I have no problems.

a little bit more information:

the db where filled, but for example, the user i created at the first install step, aren´t in the usertable of the db. and the configuration.php file are also not in the root.

@steckno - I've found a reason of your issue - I don't know why but on our test installation used for generating the quickstart there were the *_de_de VM tables - in your case it was caused the described issue. I've replaced quickstart with the fixed ones - I've tested it for german, polish and english (GB) language - now it should work fine.
