Fatal error: Allowed memory size... bytes exhausted

I recently uploaded the quickstart of the "Shop and Buy" template. The front end works fine but i cant access the admin login page.
When I go to "mysite.com/administrator", I get a fatal error.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 103809024 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 768 bytes) in .../administrator/modules/mod_menu/tmpl/default.php on line 14

but front-end templates cannot change behavior of Joomla back-end.
Did you updated a template or what exactly ??

All I did was upload the quickstart package and ran the install.
When installation was complete, I clicked on go to admin... it hung for about 30 seconds... then it took me to the Fatal Error.
But I checked the front end and its fine.

BTW,... I have also tried to increase the allowed amount thought the .htaccess file and a php.ini file. Neither have worked.

Never mind. I just uninstalled and uploaded a clean install and it works fine. Sometimes that's all it takes.
