Add Custom Field in Category View vm3

Hi there,

How can I add custom fields to my products in category view?
I want to show 'color variations / additional images' if possible.

Could you tell me what to do to enable this?

I'm afraid I'm not a VM expert and I do not know how to do this, but I can tell that it's possible with this template for sure. I've been working with websites where this was configured already, so I know.

Thanks for your reply, but this is for vm2, vm3 should have this option 'configured' already but don't know how to set this in template.

VM3 is based on VM2 so it should have a similar functionality. Where did You heard that VM3 "should have this option 'configured' already"? Maybe that's the place to look for the answer. I'm not a VM expert, sorry.

Since custom fields were there already in VM2 what was done exactly to make it "by default" ? I do not get this part, but I know it works for other users who have this template. Send me an access to ftp so I'll see what is different at Your website and url to Your site.

I've dug into the code and trail leads to /component/com_virtuemart/sublayouts/products.php but I must say there is no line of code to display custom fields there, so I'm a little bit confused right now. I think You should stick with Vm support on that. They clearly know more than me in this topic.
