get black page

hi, im trying to install a quickstart of shop and buy but i get a blank page.

Could you please be more precise. What you did, at what step the problem happened etc.

i got the files and extracted them in my html public folder and when i open the url its just blank. nothing is showing. its supposed to be showing the joomla installation page.

Probably you have placed files in wrong directory or there is some issue with your hosting. Please check if you can put a blank html file (index.html) with some text inside and view it by opening the url.

i checked again, the files are in the right place. i even tried a different host. its still not showing. just a blank page i can give you the details you check it out.

You might also check error log - perhaps there is something that might help finding the cause.
There might be also an issue with htaccess in one of the parent folders (if you install in subfolder).
The package is 100% ok - I have checked it and installed without any issues.

Ps. To be 100% sure please try to install vanilla Joomla package.

Hello, I get a blank page when I try to open the backend. The site works (http://nieuw.lusannelingerie.nl), but the backend is a blank page (http://nieuw.lusannelingerie.nl/administrator/). Sometimes I do get the login-form, but the index-page and all other pages I tried were blank.

Seems like server instability. Please enable php error reporting, check php logs or contact hosting company support so they could verify whats wrong.

When I set the error reporting to maximum, I get this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method vRequest::vmSpecialChars() in MYWEBSITE/administrator/modules/mod_vmmenu/helper.php on line 57
