language flags don't work right

Hi,

My language switch doesn't work right on virtuemart category page.... all other items switch fine.
I have to click twice to get the right language! Tried all sort of settings but none work.
Looks like some home url problem with virtuemart?

Any help would be nice to get this fixed.

Just noticed something in firebug.
After switch from NL -> DE, menu and pages change.
But vm category page not...
I noticed this code on the page? Maybe some script issue??

Hi, just some more info on this;

The language select is in 'search' position.
When I set 'active language' in (language selection) to 'No' it works fine???
Shoot me on this one.

Any help would be great.

I think You should ask on VM forum about this issue. I'm not VM expert I'm afraid.

Already did, still nothing.
I'm not sure if it's vm, joomla or template related?

You can check if it's releated with template by switching to a default joomla template and see if it is still not working. But first try play with VM settings according javascript and css being used by component.

This is the problem, will be solved soon by vm. Meanwhile using previous J3.3.6 languagefilter)

The problem with the new Joomla router is that if there is no itemId given, it uses the homepage Itemid as fallback.
The popup uses the last used itemId, which works well in j2.5, but not in j3.4.1

There will be a fix for it in VM 3.0.10. With that the popup keeps the currently used language when 'Language Javascript Fix' is enabled in VM Configuration > Checkout tab (just tested successfully).
But don't forget to revert your 'hack' (using the Joomla 3.3.6 version of languagefilter.php)!!!
