Hello!

I am making a new personal web site (you can see the "under construction" version at link: http://www.venturaluca.com/jupgrade2 ) so I installed:
a) CMS: Joomla 2.5.17
b) Template: Gavick msocial template (ver. 3.11)
c) Social component: JFBConnect 6.0.2 (by Sourcecoast: http://www.sourcecoast.com )

I have the following problems:

1) Gavick msocial template has a built-in login\sign-in\logout module (see screen shoot 1 attached): how can I substitute it with login\logout\sign-in module of JFBConnect? With other templates I could use a particular position (e.g. login position) for that module….but I haven't this position in msocial template!!!
2) I tried to use built-in login\sign-in\logout module of msocial-template but it is has a view that I would like to change (see screen shoot attached 1 and 2): how can I modify it? For example I would like to use a different size for fonts and use italian language: how can I do?
3) If I use built-in login\sign-in\logout module and I click on "log in" label a log in window appears (see screen shoot 2 attached): the "strange thing" is that the blue login button of JFBConnect's component appears (see screen shoot 3 attached) !! How come?
4) I would like to use different versions of login\sign-in\logout module: one with english labels ("log in", "sign up", etc) and one with italian labels ("accedi", "registrati", etc) . How can I do?
5) I would like to reduce logo position's width to have more free space for menu: how can I do?

Thanks in advance.

Luca

So shortcut only
ad 1) Sorry but we don't support JFBConnect - ask developer of this extension.
ad 1 & 2) Not all positions in template are typical positions for example "login" or "menu" : http://www.gavick.com/documentation/gen ... templates/
so if you need add there your own - add new module position.
ad 4) You can translate all phrases from template using this guide: http://www.gavick.com/documentation/gen ... r-phrases/

p.s.
You can always request support from us, but you need take in your mind that customization is not regular Template support.
Remember that we have very big collection of guides, tips etc.. check my footer link :whistle:

Sorry!!! I didn't see you answered to me…. :-( The first question is the same that I have just posted…the problem is that the system didn't allow me to upload all three images! So I tried to post the message again…..

Can you post again the answer? Thanks a lot!

ad 5) it depends what logo type you are using. Manual: http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joo ... -add-logo/

You can also reduce left and right space in Logo & Menu Bar,
using this:
Code: Select all
#gkTop { padding: 0 15px; }

+ this guide: http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joo ... -template/

and replace Home item with only icon - you will save many pixels.

Question n. 4: Ok….but I would like to have two version of my web site: an italian version and an english version. In the first case all the buttons' label must be in italian, in the second case the must be in english. So how can I obtain this result?

Question n. 3 and 5: you didn't answer to me :-( I also need to now how I can use two different logos: one for italian version of the web site and one for the english version (see question n. 4).

Thanks a lot.

About logos.
By default is not possible in our templates but there is one solution....

1) because Joomla allows you to use more than one style for whole website make a clone of current template.
2) In Template Manager --> [ x ] (M)Social - Default --> Duplicate
and use this style only for second language (english?) when use different logo image for it
3) Assign this template only for those menu items which are connected with second language
