Hello,

There is a problem with the login popup window @ www.thuto.us

1. can I disable popup and redirect to login page?

Register seems to go directly to the Joomla Register page.

IF NOT:

Problem:

2. When I login in using Facebook the popup remains as black window. I need to click on window (anywhere), or type in site's url.
There doesn't seem to be any redirects to any pages.

Hi

In /layout/default.php please change this lines:

Code: Select all
                    <?php if(($this->API->get('reg_link') == '1' && $userID == 0) || $this->API->modules('login')) : ?>
                     <div id="gkUserArea">
                       <?php if($this->API->modules('login')) : ?>
                       <a href="<?php echo $this->API->get('login_url', 'index.php?option=com_users&view=login'); ?>" id="gkLogin"><?php echo ($userID == 0) ? JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_LOGIN') : JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_LOGOUT'); ?></a>
                       <?php endif; ?>

                       <?php $usersConfig = JComponentHelper::getParams('com_users'); ?>
                       <?php if ($usersConfig->get('allowUserRegistration') && $userID == 0) : ?>
                          <a href="<?php echo JRoute::_('index.php?option=com_users&view=registration'); ?>" id="gkRegister"> <?php echo JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_REGISTER'); ?></a>
                       <?php endif; ?>
                     </div>
                     <?php endif; ?>

to this:

Code: Select all
                     <div id="gkUserArea">
                       <a href="<?php echo $this->API->get('login_url', 'index.php?option=com_users&view=login'); ?>" id="gkLogin2"><?php echo ($userID == 0) ? JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_LOGIN') : JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_LOGOUT'); ?></a>

                       <?php $usersConfig = JComponentHelper::getParams('com_users'); ?>
                       <?php if ($usersConfig->get('allowUserRegistration') && $userID == 0) : ?>
                          <a href="<?php echo JRoute::_('index.php?option=com_users&view=registration'); ?>" id="gkRegister"> <?php echo JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_REGISTER'); ?></a>
                       <?php endif; ?>
                     </div>

After that show me Your site since it may need a fix to style of this link.

IS THIS CORRECT? THERE ARE 2 LINES THAT ARE MORE OR LESS THE SAME:

<div id="gkUserArea">
<a href="<?php echo $this->API->get('login_url', 'index.php?option=com_users&view=login'); ?>" id="gkLogin2"><?php echo ($userID == 0) ? JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_LOGIN') : JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_LOGOUT'); ?></a>

<?php $usersConfig = JComponentHelper::getParams('com_users'); ?>
<?php if ($usersConfig->get('allowUserRegistration') && $userID == 0) : ?>
<a href="<?php echo JRoute::_('index.php?option=com_users&view=registration'); ?>" id="gkRegister"> <?php echo JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_REGISTER'); ?></a>
<?php endif; ?>

<a href="<?php echo JRoute::_('index.php?option=com_users&view=registration'); ?>" id="gkRegister"> <?php echo JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_REGISTER'); ?></a>
<?php endif; ?>
</div>
<?php endif; ?>

Hi

First part is ok, but the bottom one doesn't look correct. Please revert changes and send me an access to FTP so I'll make it for You.

Attached is how the window looks after I click on login with Facebook connect.

What is the problem?

I contacted JomSocial and they think its a coding problem on your end.

See attachement.

Hi

Try add this to override.css and make sure override is enabled in template settings:

Code: Select all
#gkPopupLogin {
    position: fixed;
}

Hi

I'm afraid You need to explain what the problem is one more time. It looks perfect with this additional line of code, so I do not understand what You mena by "Still no workng".
