I understand setting social api codes in template config.

But if I want to link from the 3 icons Facebook, Google+ and Twitter to the owners facebook, G+ and twitter - where can i set the url's or user name?

i.e. https://twitter.com/xtasy4u ?

Hello,

The big icons in the grid are a custom HTML modules in the grid1 module position and its are links like the following one:

Code: Select all
<a class="gkIcon gkColorFb" href="#"><i class="icon-facebook"></i></a>

You have to change the href attribute to your own ones.

And even worse: by trying to configure the source code of the FB Icon - the whole icon is gone?
I am afraid I miss the general knowledge to customize your templates, and must learn it by doing.

So I hope you can tell me how to restore the FB icon and find the link url I have to change to...

Please try to use the "none editor" - it doesn't cut tags and doesn't add additional markup. You can restore any HTML code for the Custom HTML module from this page: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... iguration/

hi ... what you mean exactly with the "non-editor" ?
you mean an external HTML editor like dreamweaver or coffee cup...
I found the html strings, so that is a least some progress;-)

I am completely lost, sorry...can't find the non editor, nor any way to access the sourecode for the social icons - other than to toggle the editor ? And there is no way that once I copy the original code that aftersaving it shows up.

I also tried "Template Manager: Customise Template", but found no way to edit the module from there
