Remove Content-Area at Frontpage

Hi,
how can I remove the content-area from the frontpage. I tried to remove code from default.php, but it doesn´t work. Thanks for your help.

Hi, thanks for your reply and the link. I've tried everything possible. Unfortunately, it does not succeed to remove the content area on the home page for me. I do not know how I can find the ID of this content area. Thanks!

In menu manager on the very right column named ID.

Please tell me the url of the page You want to remove it for and send me an access to joomla panel.
