I just upgraded my test site to Joomla 3.3 and I installed the Joomla 3.3 compatible version of the template. But now when I visit every page I get a pop-up that says:

In order to use cookie consent you need JQuery version 1.4.4 or higher.

Why is that? I thought Joomla included a more recent version of JQuery.

You can see it here: http://www.ffatest.se/

I don't think I understand what you mean.

There is a cookie law section, is that what you mean? Should I disable the cookie consent plugin?

If I turn off the cookie consent plugin then the JQuery message goes away. I've already turned off you latest version and use SSL and I tried to turn off everything except leaving the plugin on but that doesn't make a difference.

if cookie bar from our template makes a problem, just use alternative solution, so don't waste your time for searching.
Check also your local Law if this message can be hidden in Private Policy or must be also on "stupid" bar.

So you're not even gone try to find out what the problem is with it?

And I already know what the local law is, we need to follow what the EU has decided.

Solved it myself, turned on Always use latest version. All though I'm a bit worried about letting it update itself.

Yes it might cause problems in future, so you have to check regularly.
So if you made this website for your own, no big deal,
if for someone else - if you're smart you will handle it.
