Hello,

I have problem with pagination in searching results. I integrate (M)Social template with JEvents.
When I search and try to go to second, third etc. page of searching results I see msg "Niepoprawne słowo kluczowe" and empty search result.
I tried to change for a moment template to another - after that searching was working good. I contacted with JEvents team - and they said:
"If you disable the GK template and use the protostar template the pagination works perfectly and thus indicates our component is working as expected. Can you contact GK to see what they may be doing which is stripping the pagination urls?? "

Could you give any advices what can I do with this.

Regards
Kam

Hi

Please try to rename /html/pagination.php to /html/_pagination.php . This should remove our pagination which does not support jEvents.

Hi

You have not send me an ftp access. Also where is the page with search? Do You mean the one under "Search" (JEvents » Search JEvents).

Hi

I've made couple of tests, but doesn't look like jEvents is using our override for pagination, so any changes I do to this file are unnoticed by component. So I've tried to test it with a default joomla template and unfortunatelly problem is the same, which means I cannot assist with this problem. Issue is in jEvents, You need to ask their developers for help. Sorry :(

Hello Teitbite,

thank you for your reply.
I checked it. Yes, the same problem is present in beez3 template but in protostart template not. What is the difference? I think both templates using the same mechanism incompatible with jEvens searching component.
And now I am between you and jEvents staff... ;)

Ok, could you give me any advices what can I say jEvents team?

Best regards

Hi

Protostar has it's own pagination.php file in /html folder. If jEvents works with this than try copy it to our template.

And this is what You should tell jEvents developes. Show them how pagination works now and tell than same problem is happening to beez3, but not protostar. I do not know the code of jEvents, but they may know what this means instantly.
