Hello,

I'm having problem in frontpage login.

Little introduction:

I installed GKsocial few months ago along with Jomsocial and EasyBlog and all worked well.

Now after a couple of Joomla update up to 3.4.1 I'm not able anymore to login via frontpage.

I thought it was a Easyblog issue since I got a debugging error "Notice: Undefined index: 3.4 in your-website/components/com_easyblog/helpers/helper.php on line 1621".

So I upgraded as well easyblog (in their forum they suggest to do so with this kind of errors)

I upgraded as well Social template to the latest one (3.18)

But I'm still unable to login via frontpage (either I can't login with admin account - backend login works well); I got no error: it simply does not display any error but the user does not login.

Can you help me?

I can provide on request admin access

Thanks

Could you please provide me with a URL to your website, either here or via PM (click the “Private Message” text underneath my avatar) so that I may analyze it? It is a lot easier for us to diagnose issues when we have a live site to examine.

Hello,

thanks for your quick reply.

Sorry for having wasted your time (very very sorry). I'm so stupid... the problem was caused by the bloody cookie EU. Probably I refused the bloody cookie without having realized that, and of course the authentication failed...

Now I deactivated the cookie banner; but I should replace it with an effective one that only notify the user without possibility of refusing it, otherwise he cannot login.

Sorry for wasting bytes of your server... :-( I only hope that other users could find the issue useful.
