2 Image Effects Questions

Just 2 quick image related questions.

I am using the grid to link to certain pages within my site. I would like the effect that shows here http://www.gavick.com/demo/wordpress/msocial/ when you mouse over, how to I do this?

I cannot see how to make the text overlay effect as shown here http://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/msocial/gallery-page/

Regarding your first question, please provide direct URL to the page where you want this effect (here or via PM).

Overlay from the gallery come from images caption/description (you can add it in Media Library).

You have to use Template Page - Gallery, now you are using template page - tagcloud.

Regarding image hover effect, please use this syntax in your text widget with image:

Thanks for that, I have sorted the hover effect but am having some difficulty with the gallery page.

When I changed it to a gallery page the image appears and then dissapears every few seconds moving the whole page text up and down each time it did it? I then removed the image but it is still there and I dont know how to stop it? Is there a link to how the gallery page works/gets its images from? At the moment I just want a static single image on this page but with the description bar along the bottom. However in the future I will want to use a slider too so would be good to know how it works.
