How to update Parent Theme

Hi,

My web developer created a Child Theme based on Msocial for WP v 1.1.5.

I now want to update to Msocial for WP v 1.5.1

I cannot see any Dashboard links for doing this.

The Updates page says:

Themes
Your themes are all up-to-date.
