Music State quickstart installation problem with last step

I'm having trouble installing the 3.2 quickstart for Music State. I can install joomla's stock 3.2 download but not Gavick's quickstart. Now issues for the whole installation until last step; delete installation folder. I've deleted the folder manually, also tried setting permissions to 777 so the installer can delete, also tried both manual and 777 methods for configuration.php file. Each time I verify the installation folder is removed and the configuration.php file is correct. But after that I can never get to the site or the admin. It always redirects me to /installation/index.php has error message: The requested URL /installation/index.php was not found on this server.

So it is impossible to delete directory via FTP? Sorry but it looks like file are locked and you need to contact with your hosting provider if you can't remove some files from your server.

I host my own server and deleted the files myself

Please test the package in some other server, did you try to install clean template?

I finally solved this issue, if anyone else runs into the same problem. Remove "Options +Indexes" from your apache vhost configuration for Joomla 3.x sites. It was not a problem with the template. Thanks for your reply though bkrztuk.
