How easy would it be to make content on the front page load in a iframe/pop up modal box using this template?

This is something I'm very keen to do but do I need to be looking to use an additional extension/component to acheive this?

Thx!

Good day bkrztuk. I see these instructions are for J1.5/1.6 - can I follow same instructions for J3.0?

Have Gavick done a site with a modal pop ups for K2 articles yet?

K2 use own modal script. The modal behaviour is default one since Joomla 1.5 nothing was removed from Joomla core :)

bkrztuk,

Thanks to your advice, I was able to make modal links work in articles and K2 items...

But is there a way I can make links in the footer menu of MusicState or Steakhouse?

Thx

@teainsider - you can try to add in the menu item settings the modal CSS class, but I afraid that without proper rel attribute it won't work. Unfortunately as far as I know it is not possible to set the rel attribute for the specific menu item.
