Hacked

Hi, second time my site was hacked. Hosting company gave me information that the site was hacked through my Music State template. I prefer not to post how this was done, please allow me to contact you privately asap. You should be aware of this vulnerability, and I would like a recommendation how to secure my site.

it's funny I never heard that legal template might be a "backdoor".
I think it was something more, and yes, hacker after all modified your template code. Why, because he wanted to show "who is the boss" and "wanted to hide ads of her client" .

Good anti-hacker component/plugin is always a extra security layer.
In our cuontry we have a saying, there is no such pipe in the world that can not be unblocked.

Thanks for the feedback. After restoring the site it was hit again on Christmas day. So, I did purchase RS Firewall, and will have to take more measures with my hosting company to block this ridiculous effort. Too bad these people don't direct their intelligence to a more productive purpose.

In past years it was hacking for "fun", right now in most cases there are only two purposes:
- political (like hackers from Turkey, Korea or Russia)
- money (they adds hidden advertising of online stores)

Yes, it's sad.
