Apple Affiliate - Auto Link Maker - paste code

I'd like to add the Auto Link Maker code from Apple Affiliate to my site. The instructions below say paste it in the footer of the site. The link does not provide examples for Joomla. I'm using Joomla 3.4.1.

After going to Auto Link Maker and inserting your affiliate token, simply copy the javascript code and place it into the footer on your blog or website. The code will not function properly if it is added to the header.

Do I create a "Custom HTML" module, assign it to the footer position, assign it to "all pages" under Menu Assignment? Or, is there a template setting to accommodate this?

Hi, all of these indicate it works for the "head", but I need to put this code in the "footer" of these pages or it won't work. Any thoughts? Thanks so much.

footer - you means before </body>
if yes, I'm for 100% sure that you can use: Phoca Site Plugin and problem solved.
