Hi!

I am trying to setup a multi columns menu. So I installed "plg_gkextmenu" and I do see the option in the menu administration.

To add a description below works fine. So the plugin seems to work.

However the drop down selection for columns has no effect. All items are listed in a single column.

Can you help me out?

Thx!
Andre

I'm afraid it will not work with this template - it was not designed to work with multicolumn. I'll ask our devteam about it to be 100% sure.

thanks for your efforts!

in addition: I installed the steakhouse template as well. This certainly includes multi columns - at least in the 2.5 demo

https://demo.gavick.com/joomla25/steakhouse/

I assigned steakhouse to the menu item "termine" on my site. Same issue, no multi columns.

Addition for steakhouse.

If I use columns under the first menu item, it works.
If I use the same menu item at position 5 (close to the logo), it doesn´t work.

You may check this with the data I PMed you.

With musicstate it doesn´t work at all.

Any ideas?

You MUST activate "menu height animation" or "menu width animation" within the template menu settings.

Then it works with musicstate. Wohooooo! :woohoo:

You may check the steakhouse issue. But that´s a different story.

Thx!

I'm glad you could solve it out on your own.
Is there anything else I can help you with regarding this topic?
