JomSocial 4.1.x issue

Hi,

Just got the information from JomSocial, that the template is not compatible with JS 4.1.x.
The issue that we have is, that profile cards get froze sometimes in the screen and then layer over the main menu when scrolling down. (see attachment)

Can you please help out here?

Please try some more times - it happens here on all browsers.
Go mouseover over the profile pictures and move the mouse a bit or start scrolling. It freezes the profile card and layers even over the header menu. It only goes away when you move the mouse on the profile picture again or refresh.
JomSocial saw the same problem on our site and told us that this is a template issue...

Please read my description of the issue carefully.
The issue happens with the profile cards at the community stream (JomSocial), when you go mouseover over the profile picture (no clicking!) and the profile card pops up. I also made a screenshot on my first post which explains the issue pretty good.
The issue frequency is changing by the template mood. Sometimes it all works perfectly and then, 5 minutes later and some page refreshes, it happens very annoyingly.

I still do not understand. I'm not jomsocial expert maybe that's why. I do not know what profile means. Anyway I can see an issue right now, maybe it's what You are talking about. Add this to override.css and make sure override is enabled in template settings:

No, this didn't help with my problem. But maybe we got another one fixed, I haven't discovered yet.
O.k., I will try to explain again:
when you're on our site kanoon.de you'll see the social stream/community wall. Here you see what each user has done, like "XY has earned 250 credits".
Left to that information you'll see the profile picture of each user.
Once you go with your mouse arrow over this profile picture, some more information pops up, which is the "profile card".
This profile card makes the trouble...
When you move the mouse arrow away from the profile, the profile card should be gone and all is good.
But sometimes it happens that this profile card still stays even if the mouse arrow is gone off the profile picture since minutes and even if you scroll down and up. So you always see the profile card of the user that you've been mouse over since a long time and moved your mouse arrow. This profile card also even layers over the main menu when you scroll down and this is a heavy bug.

The piece of code I gave You will help for the "heavy bug", just add it to Your css but I still cannot make the profile stuck on site. Are You having this problem with some specific browser ? What version of the browser is it and what operating system are You testing it with ? From Your description it looks like some javascript malfunction.

This happens with all browsers chrome, edge, firefox with the latest versions.

plesae add it, it will fix the displaying over the menu problem. End of override.css file will be fine.

For the staying profile box it has to do something with browser performance. I was not able to repeat it in FF, Safari, Chrome or IE on 2 different computers with Mac OSX and Win10. http://g.recordit.co/p73LV5qLAQ.gif and I need to see it broken to be able to check the code and come up with a fix.

It was copied wrong. Please take a look at the screen. This "CODE: SELECT ALL" is not the part of my code, but a text from editor. You need to remove it for this code to work.

There's still the issue - what has changed now is that the profile card doesn't layer over the menu, but it still gets frozen sometimes...
Do you think there might be a solution on the short run for this?

My code was only to fix the profile card not being shown over the menu, but I cannot help with frozen profile because it's not working like that for me in any combination of browser against operating system I have. Unfortunately without seeing the problem I'm not able to help. Since it's happening to You and not to any on my computers I suspect it's a browser performance issue. Try disable all extra plugins You may have and test it than. Test it on a different computers too.
