Clean package installation problems

Hi,

I have installed a clean (no quickstart) package of MusicSlate. Everything went ok, but now I fail to understand how to enable the fullscreen parallax images (dark-bottom and people) on home page.

Similar problem with the section-nav round button: I want it to be visible as in the demo, but I'm unable to activate it.

I also installed the quickstart package in a different location to check configurations and widgets settings, but no dice...

Did you enable "Dark bottom on homepage" option from Template Options -> Basic tab?

Then you have to configure widgets from Bottom I .. areas, if you want also widget's in mainbody position (instead of default posts), you have to also enable "Widgets Display on Homepage" option from Basic tab.

Yes, I enabled 'Dark bottom on home page' and "Widgets Display on Homepage" and configured widgets in bottom I, II and III areas in the same exact way as the quickstart configuration. Identical widget rules too. What am I omitting?

Solved: In appearence -> customize I switched the frontpage display settings from 'static page' to 'latest posts' and now everithing is ok!

You said, that you installed clean quickstart, so i thought that this option is set to 'latest posts' as default.
Anyway, I'm glad that you solved this problem.
