Add more than 6 items to GK grid1

Hello, we just purchased this theme, and need to have more than 6 items in the GK Grid 1 area (total of 45 +). Not seeing anything in the docs on how to set this up.

You can add more than 6 widgets into GK Grid I widget area, but in GK Grid widget in one row, you can't add more than 6 blocks. It's described here:

"Sizes are given in blocks and width can be no greater than 6 on the desktop, 4 for tablet view and 2 on mobile view."

Thanks for the link, but I am still confused. Can we add 6 across and 7 down, to make a total of 42? We have a large team that we are hoping to all have on the front page. It is critical for the website.

I am still not sure how to add the widgets 6 across and then add them down in rows below the 6.

Yes it's possible, you have to add 42 widgets (text widget with image or something else) in e.g. GK Grid I area, then in GK Grid you have to choose GK Grid I as a source and create blocks (block 1 x 1 can be used 6 time in one row). Order of blocks is also order of widgets from GK Grid I area.

Thank you - yes it helps and make sense. I APPRECIATE your response so much as I have our developer who can help on this project, but not until tomorrow. To explain a bit further...we love the look of the widget in the demo area "Best Albums" with the click through to the post. That all makes sense. I understand how the widget works for that "news show" widget that is located on the demo site in GK Grid 1 position.

Can we use that same "news show" - to have all of our team members (about 42) to show in that area and then link to their post with more detailed info.

Hopefully that helps give you more info and hopefully we can make this work.

Sure, it's possible, in this case (Best albums), News Show Pro widget is used as a source for GK Grid.

You have to create 42 posts with featured images and detailed informations and then configure News Show Pro widgets with these posts.
