Virtuemart create new user

I am yet to ask for help ...

It is always Virtuemart, if I create a new user by selecting the item
- Welcome visitor you can login or create an (account) - everything works fine.

But if I place a new order and at that time I create a new account using the Virtuemart, I will create the new account and finish the order process. But when it comes to the new user email to confirm and validate the new accontu. Joomla is inactive buttons "Enabled" and "Activated" and I am forced administrator to validate the user.

Let me clarify that I have enabled the option New User Account Activation (Self)

I do not understand why it does not work ....

Hi

Unfortunatelly I'm not sure either. I think it will be better if You ask VM support for help with this.
But if You are willing to experiment I would start from filling SMTP mail configuration in joomla global settings. Maybe mail cannot be send becuase VM is using a different function than default joomla registration.

I installed the same website in another hosting service that does not require settings and SMTP email but use the PHP Mail.
The Case Study remains the same, if I create a user using the default VM user skills.

Hi

I understand, but this may not be a requirement of a server, but a script in VM. Please ask Your question in VM forum, they will know best how to manage this issue.

I do not remember anyone reporting such problem before, but as I said this is more connected with VM itself, so if anyone came across this than may have reported it on VM forum not here.
