Hy guys,

First of all happy holidays and a happy new year.
I have installed the instyle template over the template storebox. I made all the settings and modules exactly the same with the same configuration as the clean instyle instalation (i have two domains: the main site with the template installed over the old one www.fashionus.ro and the test site with the clean installation test.fashionus.ro).
Now the main menu on the main site doesn't display as it should like on the test site and i have notticed that that happens because the menu doesn't go to the left as is it should, instead it goes only tot the right, as the old menu did, and overlaps the categories and the news show pro with the product in it. How do i solve this?
The new search is awsome, but i don't know how to aply it from the test site on the main site. I saw a new module in the test site called Search VM. How can i solve this issue?
Also the shopping cart does not go the standard index.php/shopping-cart but it goes to index.php/k2-information/cos-cumparaturi. Why is that? I am using a plugin for one page checkout that worked just fine with storebox.

Also there is the issue of the topbar posted in an other topic by someone else. I added a reply to that post.

Hope you can answer me as soon as possible.

Thank you and again happy hollidays and a happy new year.

Hi

I think Your problem is becuase of the browser's cache still loading style files from previous template. When I compare both sites it looks almost the same to me and I do not see the problems mentioned in problem description. Please try clear browsers cache and check it again.

Hi,
Thank you for your quick reply.
Unfortunately the suggestion did not work. I deleted the history, cookies, cache, temp files, everything i could.
Also i checked on a computer that hasn't been on the website since the change and it has the same error.
So please look at the examples i gave you and see what the problem is.
Also you haven't replied at any of the other issues.
So Thanks again

Besides the issues with the search and cart are not browser related.

Hi

I'm not sure what other thread are You asking me to help with, if a different moderator has took it already than I will not see it in moderator tool anymore.

Please send me this screens to my mail. They got resized on send and I'm not able to read the texts on it. I'm guessing this is an example of the problem, right ? I thought the problem is joomla panel not here, which means I've missunderstood.

Hi

I've analized it right now and problem is some 3rd party extension. basicaly becuase of the errors in javascript menu script is not being used at all. Pleasae try to solve some of this issues:

Invalid App Id: Must be a number or numeric string representing the application id.
all.js#xfbml=1 (line 56)

FB.getLoginStatus() called before calling FB.init().
all.js#xfbml=1 (line 56)

FB.init has already been called - this could indicate a problem

Wrong value xMidYmid meet during processing preserveAspectRatio attribute.

Hi,

I am sorry but i have no idea about what you are talking about. I use the FB login from the template gk_storebox and the FB like button/buttons are either the template's default buttons or just the FB Like box that i had before installing the new template.
Had no problem with them before.

Thanks.

Hello again,

i checked the maximum error reporting and the errors are not the ones you told (only normal virtue mart problems). Also i checked the development error reporting and the error i got was:

Ok it seems i solved the issue with the menu. I found an option called menu width and i activated it.
Now i need to explain the issues with the search. I have the older version. The version from the storebox template. I need to install the version from this instyle template.
The shopping cart goes to this http://www.fashionus.ro/index.php/k2-in ... umparaturi link instead of http://www.fashionus.ro/index.php/cos-cumparaturi and i have to solve it.
Can you help me with these two problems?

Hi

Och. I would not have thought about that option. The errors I've mentioned could be a reason as well, but it looks like a it has something to do with API or configuration. I think You can fix it by updating template.

I do not understand the issue about search. Can You explain ? It look like the one on the demo to me.

The link for cart is a menu structure. Please look for an item with an alias of "k2-information" and rename it or remove.

Hi,

Sorry for replying so late tot this post.
I have solved the issue with the cart link by reinstalling the template. But i am still using the same database as i have been using on the storebox template.
I have attached a few print screens of the back end of joomla to show you the difference.
The first image is how the search looks on http://www.fashionus.ro.
The second image is how the search looks on http://www.new.fashionus.ro.
I need the module for the virtuemart search on www.fashionus.ro to be the one on new.fashionus.ro so that images are displayed instead of just plain text like it is doing now.
Hopefully i was clear enough.

Thank you.

Hi

So You mean search results, not search module itself. As I can see problem is that 2 different search modules are used. On first screen there is a Virtuemart search module and other is a default joomla module. Please simply create new Virtuemart search module and publish it in the same position as the one before. Unpublish the old one than. This should fix the problem.

Log-in to your Joomla! backend and navigate to Extensions>Module Manager. Then click on the 'New' button at the top of the screen. You will be prompted to select a module type; select 'VirtueMart Search Product'.

You will then be taken to the module configuration screen; set the position and other settings to match the equivalent module settings on your test server, then save. In the list of modules, find your previous search module and unpublish it by clicking the green tick icon in the 'status' column. Make sure your new module has been published and you're good to go!

Thank you so much. It worked like a charm.
Now the only problem is that this search module doesn't display anything if no search results found. Just a blank page. Shouldn't it display a message like no search results found?
Thank you again for your help.

Hi

Unfortunately it's not showing anything, but this is something Virtuemart support should help with. We have not overwrited any functionality for VM so it's not a template feature. Sorry.
