Coupon button in VM does not work

Hello, I installed the AWOCopon component. Everything is set as prescribed. When I enter a coupon code in your shopping cart and the button - Apply - press goes nothing. There is no error or anything displayed. The button does not respond. Can it be that he has no functionality? Many Thanks Ilona :(

Hi

I do not know this component, so it's possible that template is not supporting it, but there is an easy way to check if it's a template or VM issue. Please switch Your site to a default joomla template and check it than. If this will not work still than it's a VM issue and You should report this on their forum, but if it does than come back to me please.

Hello, Thanks for the quick reply. If I switch to a standard Templet is to see no more navigation. I can not consider so. The voucher component for viruemart. Even if I did not stop the component, I can not apply a coupon in Virtuemart. So there must be a mistake of Virtuemart. Can you please check? Thank you Ilona

Hi

No no, I've meant a joomla template, not VM one. It's only to make a test and not a solution. Please go to templates section and switch to Protostar for example. When You do please see if the coupon works. If it does than it's our problem and I'll send it to programmers or will fix it myself, if it still will not work that it's something about VM code and You will need to ask them for help.

I have set a Joomla templet. Anything goes here with no errors. The coupon code worked. So there is an error in Templet. Can you solve the problem? It's really urgent. :? Many Thanks Ilona

Hi

I have removed the VM override from template for cart and looks like it's working fine now (both coupon and quantity update). This will work for now, but please observ template updates, because one of upcoming releases may have a fix for this problem.
