error on install 3.2 ( not creating database tables )

Hi all, I have tried this for days and i can't seem to install instyle QS zi[ file, everything goes well until the last step where it will create the tables, as soon as it gets to the creating of tables, it goes back to the previous page automatically. I have checked my error log file and this is what i got.

The 2.5 JS file works fine, so i guess it has nothing to do with my server settings. Please advice me on what i can do to solve this problems.

It looks like you have display_errors set to on on your server. Please post here a screenshot of the 3rd step of installation. It should be marked there.

I don't see them on the screen, i went into the ftp and i saw the error_log file inside the public_html folder. anyway here's the screenshot

1. Please reupload all the files.

2. Please contact your hosting company support and ask so they change your account setup to be compatible with Joomla 3.x branch.

Ok, Its might not be a problem with your hosting. It might be a bug in our quickstart template.
Ill write back as soon as we will find the reason.

We have checked it carefully on few of our servers - and the installation works fine.
Could you please check if the package work fine on another server (if you have tested it locally, please check it on online server, or if you have checked online, please check locally).
Please also provide your server configuration (<?php phpinfo(); ?> would be the best).

I have tried it installing a fresh 3.2 joomla on my server, it's working fine, but not with the quickstart template. is it possible that you can send me the quickstart template to test? i have copied the files a few times but it's still not allowing me to install it.

Please try this solution.
1. Either on your local machine or on server where you have uploaded the quickstart please navigate to:
/installation/view/summary
and remove file:
view.html.php
2. Download attached file

html.php.zip

and unzip it (you should get html.php file).
3. Put the html.php file into
/installation/view/summary
folder
4. Restart the installation.

Please write back if it helped and installation finished correctly.

via a php.ini file i have turned display errors off. I then created a phpinfo file and when i call that, it shows me that display_errors is set OFF.
But: when i start the installation procedure and get to the third step, it still shows that display_errors is set to on!

Could it be that there is a config somewhere in the quickstart package directing to this wrong info?

OK, As there are two users with this problem, please write one messages with template name that has this issue. I'll check it locally and will prepare custom template to cheek if it works fine on your server.
The issue with php.ini set to dispoay_errors to off and J3.x showing in 3rd step that it is on, should not cause the problem, but with package I'll provide you it should be fixed.

First lets deal with a problem in inStyle package.
I have attached a zip file to this post:

gk_instyle_quickstart_J!3_installation_fix.zip

You need to download it, unzip, and replace original installation folder from quickstart package if inStyle template (please remove original installation folder, then put this one in place).
But that is not everything. As inStyle has quite big database attached, it needs enough time to install it correctly, co please increase this values in php.ini (if you don't know how, please contact your hosting company support, they will tell you how):

Above are my settings and they work fine. Perhaps you need to adjust yours just a little bit (make them double for start).

Now the mSocial package.
Here is an attached file to download:

gk_msocial_quickstart_J!3_installation_fix.zip.zip

Download it, unzip and replace original installation folder of quickstart mSocial package (exactly as in previous example).
mSocial should install fine after that change, but if not, please also check php.ini settings that I have posted in previous post and try increasing them a little bit. This should allow bigger files to be processed and database to finish it's installation process.

i did what u said.
1. deleted the INSTALLATION folder
2. unpacked and uploaded your ZIP as INSTALLATION
3. added a php.ini to my folder with your php suggestions
4. removed the created database tables via phpmyadmin
5. restarted the installation

Now i can see that the recommended suggestions appear in step three.
But after clicking INSTALL, it goes back to the same page, though the tables are created.

So unfortunately your solution does not workk

Any suggestions left what it could be?

I just renamed the INSTALLATION folder and get this...
No configuration file found and no installation code available. Exiting...

Just thought that it might be the deletion of the folder but that seems not to be the problem.
I do have a question:
It is possible to get somewhere the SQL file and insert the data manually?

Sorry to ask for, but as with me this still does not seem to work out, can you tell in steps what you have done?
I still do not get after the third installation step

@branded - sadly - there is no vm support for Joomla 3.x branch, so if you would like to use eCommerce, iether use J2.x branch or try k2 store - it will not look 100% like our demo site (which is J2.x), but will give you eCommerce solutions.

cyberholic - it seems you did something wrong.
1. using php.ini not always work - please ask your hosting company for working solution
2. putting my settings blindly might be cause of the problem - you need to adjust them only if nothing else helps
3. Download quickstart again, unzip it locally, replace installation folder, delete files on ftp, reupload them, clear database so you install on clean.
