link and startpage problem

Hallo Gavick Team!

Versions: inStyle-Template Joomla 3.3

I have two problems: maybe just one?

The top horizontal menu (main menu) works just fine!

But the menu on the left (sidebar modules) always shows the content of the home page before the content is shown. The Links are Links to simple Joomlapages (not K2)

The Content of Startpage must only show on the Startpage!

Please help me!

I send the Link to Page (lokal-Server) and a Account for the system, if wanted...

Update: I created a hidden menu with categorys from the items of left menu and... it works!

but - why?

This problem is temporary solved for me...
