Can I add multi language support later to my site?

I will just start to work on your new Joomla 3 + VM3 quicstart package. At first I would only focus on a single (english) site, but later on I may add one more language (after figuring out how much time and work needed to operate dual language sites.)
Can I do it later without any problem, or I need to add right at the installation the expected second language?

Yes you can do it, but most problably you will need to reproduce the whole content with the second language.
