Hello everybody,

I'm doing an economic project in two languages with instyle template, Then a can't spend money in payment extension to do a multilanguage i ask for you wich is the best option to do this site.

- Do a copy of template for each language

OR

- Use the falang free extension

OR

- Anyother option?

Thank you in advance,

Manel

Hi

I think a copy of template style will be better in this case. There will be no link to falang at the bottom of the pages and it may be easier for just 2 languages.

I'll do as you say teitbite but I have some problem.
I can assocate menu items in tot languages (for example: Home menu with Menu inicio o menu inici) but I browse in my shop i can't change the language because I'll return to Home menu.

For exemple in this link http://creafesta.com/nova/index.php/es/ ... nos-detail when I change to Catalan language in the flag the site goes to home menu and I'd like go to detail product in Catalan.

Thank you in advance,

Manel

Hi

Och. I'm afraid joomla language selector works like this. Try install Falang component and translate content to a different language so it will be still same page just displaying different things. So no redirection to frontpage will be neccessary.

Hi

I'm not sure how falang works with VM, but if You will translate just menus and for example as a translation just poing to a different article/category/product (whatever is needed) than I believe You can use both solutions simultaneously and page will just change language not redirect to homepage.
