how to show vm module in left postition

can anyone tell me how i can show the virtuemart categori in the "left "position just like on the demo site?

When i select "left" it just doesnt show.
when i try the /?tr=1 option the position isnt there?
i now show it in the "side "position" on the right and that works fine.

can anyone tell me how to show the module please.
just like in the demo?

i know vm is crapy software but this is a (small) position problem.
Do in need to make a new postition?

i know and thats the problem!
there is no left position (in the template that is but there is under Joomla somehow) but in the demo they do what i want.

the shopping cart was moved to the top position but went i changed it to the sidebar it shows under the categories on the left.
Just what i wanted.

but how did you do it? especialy as you cant log in to the backend right?

I thought You have done it by changing module position from left to sidebar ;/ Without an access I could not do much.
