Hi,
are you using default Joomla search module or Smart Search ?
Besides you site is empty, I didn't saw any filled articles inside.
We made only template not Joomla search engine. Template is like Paint, not a engine from the car.

Solved, I turned the other search module for products virtuemart.

Yeas, there are at least few search modules, some of them even show thumbnails or use ajax search method
