Own placeholder images?

Hello guys,

I would like to use own placeholder images (like your images with gavick demo inside). In the news show pro module, there're grey pictures. If I use show images the path would be modules/mod_news_pro_gk5/cache/stories.virtuemart.product.bez-nazwy-1nsp-684.jpg. But it's a cached image.

Can you tell me the path of the original image?

You can try disable creating thumbnail to see where module is picking up the original image. I was point to: /images/stories/virtuemart/product/bez-nazwy-1.jpg by doing that.

I disabled creating thumbnails at the News Show Pro module, but I can still see it's cached :< -> /media/k2/items/cache/3f4808b525a42a0bb340252b3c0de1d3_Generic.jpg

I only want an image placholder for articles which dont have an image... :/

Not actually NSP has it's own cache which is stored inside it's own folder, so this path is to a file thumb in NSP was created from.

In NSP You can select which image to choose in K2 additional setting section of NSP configuration.

K2 creates multiple images while adding an image to articles. To create all it's versions You will have to upload Your placeholder image to all articles using K2 image section.

I used your solution and uploaded my placeholder image to all articles of k2 which dont have one.

There is an option to define a default image per module's ID. You just have to upload an image to modules/mod_news_pro_gk5/cache/default/ with a name as in this example: default555.png where 555 is module's ID.
