It is not a template-specific question but could you please tell me what is the easiest way to insert adsense banner at the beginning of the articles as on the attached image?
I can't use loadposition because I have almost 400 articles.

Probably some 3rd party extension might help, but I can't provide exact one.
Also you might try to edit article template file and place there a custom module just before article content but depending on your content structure styling it as in provided mockup might or might not work.
