Despite the fact that registration of new users is disabled, the button to register remains visible. When clicked it shows the login page. Although registration is not possible I would like the registration section of the page invisible.

Could You please post an url to your site, or instruct me exactly how to reproduce the problem (what to click) on standard quickstart package?

Just click on the yellow login-item in the mainmenu-bar on top of the page to login. In the next screen on the left-side the create an account-option still exists.

I don't see yellow login-item in your site's header.

This is a template bug. Ill report that to our devteam and will write back as soon as I'll get an answer (this should be fixed in next template release).
