I use community builder and neither the cb login module or joomla login module shows. The social module floats all the way to the right.http://www.graywatch.org

Also the social buttons are much smaller than the demo. I copied the custom module content from the documentation.

Could you please provide me with a URL to your website and back-end access via PM (click the “Private Message” text underneath my avatar) so that I may analyze it? It is a lot easier for us to diagnose issues when we have a live site to examine.

Hi

Sorry, my bad. This particular template is special and using an url to the login page instead of a module position. You just need to put a link to CB login page with a parameter for blank template. Like this example:

Code: Select all
index.php/component/users/?view=login&tmpl=blankpage

I got the login to show using the comprofiler login url. Dropping the tmpl=blank seems to work fine. However once logged in the box changes to "YOUR ACCOUNT" which is wrong of course it links to the login page which toggles to log out. Ideally the text should read "LOG OT" but i cant find where that is.

Hi

You are right. I've missed that one. Ok. try edit file /layout/default.php and replace this code:

Code: Select all
              <?php if($this->API->get('login_url', '') != '') : ?>
               <a href="<?php echo str_replace('&', '&amp;', ($userID == 0) ? $this->API->get('login_url', 'index.php?option=com_users&view=login') : str_replace('&tmpl=blankpage', '', $this->API->get('login_url', 'index.php?option=com_users&view=login'))); ?>" id="gkLogin"><?php echo ($userID == 0) ? JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_LOGIN') : JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_LOGOUT'); ?></a>
               <?php endif; ?>

with a new one:

Code: Select all
<?php if( $userID == 0 ) : ?>
     <a id="gkLogin" href="/component/comprofiler/login"><?php echo JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_LOGIN'); ?></a>
<?php else : ?>
          <a id="gkLogin" href="/component/comprofiler/login"><?php echo JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_LOGOUT'); ?></a>
<?php endif; ?>

This will be cleaner I think.

Got it and looks great. Especially after I make a change to the language file :-)

Thanks much.
